My name is Mark and I am the creator of ReadyPRO. My mission is to provide the best emergency solutions to families that want to prepare for disasters. Disaster Experience
I have experienced the following emergencies and natural disasters:
Oregon Great Floods of 1996. In early February 1996 four days of heavy rain began after a period of extended, bitter cold. Low level snow packs released up to 10 inches of water in as little as 48 hours. Five people died and nearly every Oregon county received a disaster declaration. Region-wide damage estimates exceeded one billion dollars. Thousands were sheltered and hundreds of homes were destroyed. The City of Portland erected a makeshift flood barrier to prevent flood waters from moving into the downtown area. This storm was rated the #6 worst storm in Oregon History.
Scotts Mills Earthquake- Magnitude 5.7. While living south of Portland Oregon on March 25, 1993, I experienced the Scotts Mills Earthquake- Magnitude 5.7. The Scotts Mills Earthquake (also known as the “Spring Break Quake”) was centered in neighboring Marion County, near the town of Woodburn and Scotts Mills. The quake originated about two miles south of Scotts Mills and twelve to thirteen miles underground. Damage was negligible in most of Polk County. In the town of Mount Angel, authorities closed the historic St. Mary Catholic Church for fear its 200-foot bell tower could collapse. Chunks of plaster fell from the walls at the Queen of Angels Monastery.
"Friday the 13th" Winter Storm of 1995. While living in Portland, I experienced the "Friday the 13th" Storm of 1995. The storm brought high winds from the south into Portland toppling large urban trees. At the time I was working for Telecommunications Giant MCI as a customer Service Manager. The storm hit during rush hour. Trees had fallen on cars waiting on the freeway on ramp. Nearly every freeway sign was knocked down in the nearly 70 mph winds. When I got home, at least 10 homes had a fallen tree on their rooftops in my Neighborhood. We were without power for nearly 5 days.
Other disasters include Mt St. Helens Eruption in 1980 and the 6.0 Wells, NV earthquake in Februay of 2008.

Rexburg, Idaho Shipping : Shipping is free to Rexburg Idaho. Simply choose the Rexburg Idaho option. If you choose this option, your order will arive in 7 business days.
UPS Ground Promotion : This shipping option is flat rate shipping ($10.99) to anywhere in the continental USA. Your package will usually arrive within 10 business days of your order (No APO or Hawaii or Alaska). Please, no PO Boxes for shipping addresses. This includes free tracking and shipping insurance.
UPS Ground: Those customers that are from Alaska will chose this option. Your shipping charge will reflect the actual charge to your state. Any Alaska customer, or those in the lower 48 states, can choose this option if they wish. However, most customers in the lower 48 will have a better rate by using the UPS Ground Promo listed above for $9.99. Please, no PO Boxes or APO's for shipping addresses. This includes free tracking and shipping insurance.
UPS 2nd Day Air®: Those customers that are from Hawaii will chose this option, or any customer wishing to have quicker shipping. Your shipping charge will reflect the actual charge to your state using this method. Please, no PO Boxes or APO's for shipping addresses. This includes free tracking and shipping insurance.
USPS Flat Rate Box* (All 50 states) $12.99: Those customers that are in Alaska or Hawaii or any other state would choose this option. Your shipping charge is set at a flat rate which covers insurance and a delivery confirmation. There is no tracking. Please, no military APO's for shipping addresses.
*ReadyPRO reserves the right to change your USPS shipping preference at no extra charge in the envent that your items wont fit into a USPS Flat Rate Box.
There is no extra handling or processing charges…. EVER!

Refunds, Returns and Cancellation Policies:
Return of Defective Items: Please contact us via email for a return authorization for defective items only. Defective items must be returned to us no longer than 30 days from your initial order. Replacement of defective items must be requested within 25 days of your order date. Due to state and federal laws, food items cannot be returned. All other items will receive a 100% replacement for defective items. For items defective after 30 days, please see each manufacturers warranty for replacement or repair.
Cancellations: If you place an order, and then change your mind, you must contact us via email BEFORE your item has shipped. Then you will receive a 50% refund from the original purchase price of your items (including shipping). Sorry, there are no exceptions to this policy.
Refunds: Other than returning defective items, or canceling your order, there are no refunds on any item in the store. If you have need more information about a particular product, please contact us via email and we will try and accommodate your request. Shipping is not refundable. Flat rate shipping only applies to new orders and does not include shipping replacement items back to you. 100% UPS ship rates apply to these replacement items.
